This master course offers a comprehensive coverage of different aspects related to distribute systems. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about theoretical and practical aspects related to distribute systems. Topics to be discussed as a part of this course are related but not limited to the following: Distributed systems definitions, Distributed architectures, Networking, Processes and communications, Consistency and replication, Transparency and security, Distributed systems cases, Cloud and pervasive computing.
